Awesome USB 3.0 connection
Iwas amaze by this drive , how fast and reliable it is, I; was able to record my home blu ray movies , also back up my own blu ray movies as we'll , the software is pretty easy to used if you know what you doing,I' also do video editing and this drive as not issues what so ever.

software is gnagware
The software that comes with the product is gnagware. thus far have not been able to write a bluray it...useless until we get it working.
Renders the Internal DVD Player usless
Plextors Driver renders the Other DVD paler unuable which means you have to have one uninstalled to use the other. They had only a minor registry fix but that didn't work. The Software does not work for burning Blu rays either. this is a nightmare. Don't waste your time.
